In reply to: auto save questionbtw I still can’t figure out why I can’t find anything related to auto save on the site (we are using that lastest WP release 3.42). Checked everywhere and it does not display for pages or posts. Checked under the screen options at the top of the screen and it is not there. There must be a line of code missing somewhere. I just don’t know where. wp-config.php, functions.php or elsewhere?

In reply to: auto save questionI’ll try but the problem is infrequent. Happened once last week and again yesterday. I deleted several plugins yesterday that we were not using. Maybe one of them caused the problem.
thanks I will try your suggestion.

In reply to: auto save questionI didn’t delete any of those pages. worked most of the day on the site and then all of a sudden I noticed that about half a dozen pages are missing.
When I checked under the pages option the pages are gone. I don’t know how they are lost or at least not visible. I had the same problem about a week ago. It seems to be only pages not posts. I figured it was one of the plugins and at that time I restored them manually.
But I didn’t do anything today that I know of that would cause this. Probably still one of the plugins.
That is why I thought I could check the auto save and realized that the function doesn’t appear anywhere.

I just checked the wp-config.php file and don’t see anything in there related to auto save or revisions.

In reply to: [SendPress Newsletters] inserting poststhanks. I think this would be a very good feature to add since it would substantially reduce the time required to generate new newsletters.

In reply to: [HungryFEED] rss feeds and searchIt turns out that there is still a problem. The Relevanssi plugin (search plugin) does find the RSS page that has the search term in it. However it only displays the Title and a one line descriptor that we keyed for the RSS page. It does not display any of the RSS data even with Relevanssi set to expand shortcodes. Any thoughts about this?

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] shortcode contentI have Relevanssi set to expand shortcodes.
Relevanssi seems to work correctly in other cases and does find the correct pages on searches of the RSS feeds. The only problem seems to be that it does not expand the information. It only show the Title of the page and the one line description of the feed, which is not part of the feed data and is something we entered on the page.

We are planning to change to another form plugin so we are set for now.

In reply to: [SendPress Newsletters] email creation bug?I upgraded to 3.4.2 and that didn’t do it. I deactivated plugins one a t a time and there seems to be a conflict with the cforms plugin.

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] shortcode contentI thought I figured it out but it still doesn’t work. We have a plugin for excerpts, Custom Excerpts and I thought that was the problem. I deactivated it and I thought that the standard WP excerpts functions was displaying the RSS data in the search results but it was not. It is still the same issue. For posts and non-rss pages the search results display excerpts of the information. For pages with RSS information (as described in my post above) only the Title and description appears.
