Hi @williamebales
The feature to add regions to the globe is a Pro feature, so we’ll follow up on this questions using the Pro channels, as per WordPress forum guidelines, this forum should only be used for support for the free version.
To provide information to others looking for the same thing, in the current version the plugin only has continent maps and country maps, it doesn’t have maps of countries divided by regions/states, since the plugin will display the full globe. However, in the future it will be possible to use custom geojson maps to load regions, so it will be possible to load maps of the US divided by states.

In reply to: [Interactive Globes - 3D World Maps] Auto rotating globeHi!
This will be available in a future Pro version.Greetings, Carlos
Hi @davidbohau
We will be adding options to control this to the next update, we already have it in our development version, so you can wait for the next update which should come in a couple of weeks.
Cheers, CarlosHi @davidbohau thank you for using the plugin and for the positive words!
Right now it won’t be possible to lock the zoom, but we’ll consider it for a future version, thank you for the feedback!
The colors are part of the images selected for the globe (it’s a normal jpg image) so to change that you would need to change the image that comes with the plugin directly. They are stored in the folder assets/imgs.

In reply to: [MapGeo - Interactive Geo Maps] Server Down?It seems it also depends on the internet service provider somehow.
To selfhost you will need to upload the contents of each zip file into a folder in your server/website. You will need to use FTP or other method. The contents should be unzipped. You should end up with the following structure/folders:
https://mysite.com/amcharts/amcharts4
https://mysite.com/amcharts/geodata
With the files being in links likehttps://mysite.com/amcharts/amcharts4/core.js
https://mysite.com/amcharts/amcharts4/map.js
https://mysite.com/amcharts/geodata/usaLow.js
And then setup the URL in the plugin settings. But this will only work for Pro users, in the free version it’s not possible to setup a custom url for the assets unfortunately.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MapGeo - Interactive Geo Maps] Server Down?Hi all
We have reported this to the service.
We have feedback from users that reported this issue yesterday, saying that today it’s working on their side. So hopefully it will be fixed for everyone soon. We recommend emptying your browser cache from time to time to check. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.
For Pro users, there’s this workaround: https://interactivegeomaps.com/docs/self-host-library/
We’ll be monitoring this closely.

In reply to: [MapGeo - Interactive Geo Maps] Server Down?Hi all
There seems to be an issue with amcharts cdn ( the library the plugin uses to generate the maps ). Other users who reported this early today reported back that the issue is solved on their side. So it might be a matter of time and/or emptying the browser cache.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused.

In reply to: [Interactive Globes - 3D World Maps] high res picture of globeHi @partofouradventure thank you for using the plugin!
At the moment we’re not able to include better images, as they are already big, but there are some differences between them, some are 2k (the 1st and the 4th), the others are lower resolution. We hope to include the option to allow custom images in the future, at least in the Pro version.
The other example you refer to, they changed the plugin source code to include a custom image coming from here: https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/features/NightLights/page3.php
They replaced the image available in assets/imgsHope it helps.

In reply to: [Interactive Globes - 3D World Maps] Background globeOh, I see you already have the globe there on the https://united-earth.net/en/interactive-globe/ page. Half the work is done. Now it’s a matter of being able to interact with the globe with the mouse, correct?
You can try this custom css, instead of the ones you currently have:
.globe_wrapper { margin: 0; width: 100%; max-height: 300px; /* Add this line to make the wrapper take the full viewport height */ position: relative; /* Add this line to fix the position relative to the viewport */ top: 0; left: 0; min-height: 30vh; /* Set a minimum height for the globe */ } .site-footer { position:relative; z-index:100; } .globe_aspect_ratio { max-height:500px; overflow:hidden; padding-top:50% !important; } .globe { width: 100%; height: auto; /* Adjust height to maintain aspect ratio, or set to 100% to fill */ position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; pointer-events: auto; /* This will allow interaction with the globe */ min-height: 30vh; /* Ensure it has a minimum height */ }

In reply to: [Interactive Globes - 3D World Maps] Background globeHi @aakerro
You will need some custom css to place the logo below the logo and navigation, but let’s start with the most simple step, which would be to place the globe in the page, in the main content area, where you have the image right now.The globe should take 100% of the available space, so then it will be a matter of adjusting with custom css. This is in the realm of customizations, but we’ll try to guide you.

In reply to: [MapGeo - Interactive Geo Maps] Overlapping MarkersIn that case the markers load in date order. You will need to edit the date of your post type entries, to have the order you need. That will be the only solution. Edit the entries that correspond to those markers and set a higher date or lower date, check which one will work.
Since you’re using the Pro version, please follow up using our official website contact form, since these foruns are for the free version features only, as per WP forum guidelines.
