im getting the same problem. i updated wp to 3.0 some days ago, yet got this message today:

It’s time to update the version of WordPress running from version 2.9.2 to 3.0.

weird as im not running WP-Security-Scanner (i did have it installed some time ago, but uninstalled it)

yes its saying im running version abc. Running 2.9.2. Not running any custom installation too far from standard.

I have phpmyadmin but need instructions on how to ‘add unique constraint on hash column of the wpo_campaign_posts table’.

This plugin would be great if it didnt have the duplication error and if it worked with simple tags.

yes i am having the same problem.

I want my thumbnail images to be a maximum of 100×50 in size, so I need this thumbnail to resize the longest side to fit within these constraints.

as it stands if I set these options within the plugins admin page the width size always overrides the length size, so never stays within the size limits I’ve set.

i.e. I have an image of 10×100 I want it displayed as a thumbnail in excerpts. I’ve set thumbnail image size within admin to 50x100px and it makes this image 50×500 high! so always breaks the size constraints.

need to resize the thumbnail by the longest size, otherwise its useless if your constrained to a limited area to show the thumbnail.

sorry for the late reply, im still trying to figure out how to do this.

I want exactly the same blog (from one database installation) to show up on various domains, but for each domain I want the blog urls to reflect the domain the person is on.

Similar to say how these two sites run the same blog from the same installation but they are running different domains.

youll see they run the same blog, but the wordpress urls reflect each unique domain so it looks ‘in house’. I think the logos are changed to reflect the domain with some php code.

any advice on how to approach or do this is greatly appreciated.

ive had this problem for months. auto tags just dont work. i think its due to it not working with teh latest version of wordpress. i hope the author or some other bright spark makes a fix.

thanks for the info, I did think of frames but its not really a full integration and they can be a bit nasty.

All I’ve got to figure out now is how to point the dns subdomain settings of the asp hosted website to the php hosting package?

Using plesk so hope its possible.

is there any way to point the directory to another host via dns as i would idealy prefer to have the blog within a directory rather than subdomain.

mysite.com/blog

to a subdomain like

blog.mysite.com

the developer has been promising the new version will be released in a few days for months now.

any fix for the duplicate post in the current wpomatic is greatly appreciated.

simple tags still dont work with it.

Automated cron jobs dont have simple tags added, they post with no tags, I have to manually take take the posts offline (set it to a private post) then reset it to published, then click submit for the post to display and the tags are then added.

Doesnt do it automatically. Hope someone can offer some insight into why this happens.
