Yes I do. But I don’t think I understand the child theme. I thought the only thing I needed to add was a style.css and everything else would be inherited from the parent theme. But it seems with the activation of the child theme, it just created a new style.

I’m trying to create child theme for this style but when I try to activate the child theme I get these errors

The easy way is to go to your Dashboard and click on Page. Under each Page, there is a Quick Edit, click it and you will see a place to unclick Allow Comments. For some reason, it only in Quick Edit you will see it.

It’s not working for me too. I came to see if anyone else were having the same issue.

Thanks. For some reason it was not in regular edit but if you click quick edit for a page, there will be an option to uncheck Allow Comments!

Am I suppose to have more than the add media icon next to upload/insert if I installed the video and audio player plugins that I stated in the 1st post?

Does not help. very frustrating since I can’t figure how to add a music or video player to a page. It seemed simple enough to add the plugin but it’s not showing up when I need it.

I revert back to Twenty Eleven, the 2 errors are gone. The double meta is gone. i still don’t see the icons to load music and video to a Page.
