InkThemes, I wanted to let y’all know that my child theme won’t pull the images from the parent theme. (I have copied the entire images folder into the child theme as a workaround.) Hope this helps!

Right, I know it’s not an issue for everyone, or the forums would have been blowing up. I don’t know why there is a problem, but I still see it. Just thought I’d let you know.

Is there any information I can provide that would help diagnose?

OK, I used BlueHost’s 1-step install, but I’m leaving this message open in case it helps others. This appears to still be a problem. Thanks!

To clarify, I get the error message above when I double-click to open the folder.

When I manually navigate to the parent folder (Desktop) and right-click on the .zip and click “Extract All,” I get the following error:

Cannot Complete the Compressed (zipped) Extraction Folders Wizard
The compressed (zipped) folder is empty.

Before you can extract files, you must copy
files to this compressed (zipped) folder.
