In reply to: [Jigoshop] Memory read error (again/still)FYI, I just noticed (on another site I mange) that Redux Framework – System Status also has this 40MB glitch. Other plugins, like AIO WP Security & Firewall (for instance) read the amount of memory allocated correctly (in this case, 256 MB).

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Memory read error (again/still)Thanks again for the response.
Aye…sorry, I meant “wp-config” in the last message.
While doing that does seem to remove the message, my concern is that the site is already set to have (in this case) 128MB allocated to PHP memory, yet this application/plugin doesn’t understand this and requires to read it from wp-config.Case in point: https://whiteflamecompany.com/php-info.php
The info is currently not in wp-config, so the plugin reads 40 (not even sure where it gets this from as every site on this server is allocated 128MB for PHP memory…I know, because I set it). It’s an odd glitch – though it doesn’t seem to affect the running of the plugin, only that it would concern the average user who didn’t know better.
Cheers!

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Memory read error (again/still)FYI, just tried the latest version – price option appears fine (not sure what happened in the previous)
Memory glitch still present.

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Memory read error (again/still)Sorry for the slow reply…
I am aware of the htaccess hack, but my issue is that the site already has 128MB or more allocated to it (other apps read this). It just seems Jigoshop (and as it happens Woocommerce) don’t recognize this.
It didn’t seem to affect anything running, but then I only had a single item added to test it.Another, likely unrelated, issue, is that I don’t see anywhere to add a price in the item editor.

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?FYI the only thing I see in the logs related to WP (other than kicking out annoyance IPs)) is this:
[Thu Jul 23 09:28:55 2015] [warn] [client 50.22.86.250] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Strict Standards: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method change_case::add_button() should not be called statically in /var/www/vhosts/halfpennydreadfuls.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 496
Not sure if that’s helpful…

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?FYI, I’ve noticed another recent anomaly (not a biggie, thankfully) – it doesn’t seem to like the Sumo.me “smartbar” (though it’s fine with the sharebars) – it still works, but it hugs the bottom of the screen. Doesn’t matter if the “smart bar” is in static or sticky mode.
For example https://bayouwoman.com and https://theavenuepub.comAs I said, not a biggie (since it still works), but noteworthy.
It’s odd the other problem seems mostly to affect child pages (with one exception).

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something? So far that seems to be working on the two sites I know were broken…spectacular response time! I’ll push the update to the others and hope for the best!
Cheers!

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?Bad news…that last update banjaxed the works again. It seems to be random, though – some sites are OK, some are not (I’m assuming all received the update)…despite virtually all the sites using the same theme architecture and same plugins.
Sorry, mate…I’ve had to mass disable it for now – entire sites went “white”, some it was a more random selection of pages – but too much to figure them out individually for now.

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?Cheers! That is certainly a random bit of code…especially when comments are disabled virtually everywhere on that site.
Thanks again…keep up the great work!

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something? Thanks for figuring that out! Do ye remember what the tag was exactly (just on the off chance it’s something that comes up)?

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?Working again! So, what what the cause and how did ye fix it?

In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?I just tried setting debug active via the wp-config file – but that seems to break the site altogether. Is there some other way I might manage this?
As this is a live site, I have to be careful what happens on the ‘outside’.Don’t know if I mentioned, this anomaly ONLY shows when logged out – if logged in to the admin panel, your plugin functions as expected, so it requires a lot of login/log out to even see what is happening.
The client notified me about this this morning as I wasn’t aware (I’m usually logged into the site when I see it).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?Konstantinos, mate…sorry to say, the problem returned in force – now if the plugin is activated, the whole site is blank (even if “don’t show on home page” is activated).
Just to be sure, I uninstalled it, made sure the files were all gone, reinstalled it – same problem!
The alternate plugin I’m using in the meantime works fine.
I haven’t done anything with the site – other than perhaps some plugin updates – though nothing on this site as I recall other than Infinite WordPress (just a management tool for many sites – it doesn’t really “run” anything). As I mentioned before, this particular site uses the same plugins as a dozen others on the same server (and a few less than some).
It’s an absolute mystery!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Smooth Scroll Up] plugin conflict with…something?Belay that…I just noticed there was a recent update to your plugin – so I re-installed it – and it works!
I’d still be interested in what caused the problem initially (if ye can find that now it works), but a fix is a fix!
Cheers!
