So Im guessing its just this theme that no one knows how to remove the date snippet in a google search. Pretty sad for a “support forum” on this theme. Looks like Ill have to change back to an older version.

Is this just a twenty thirteen issue of not being able to remove the date snippet in a google search? I have found nothing. I need the date removed. My homepage is static and I do not want the date.

I was also confused by this. I am using twenty thirteen theme and in the post and page php files, there doesn’t seem to be any code generating the google search date snippet. Any ideas how else to remove it?

Maybe I should stop using Safari, haha.

Changed the word-wrap and still wrapping in Safari. Maybe its the browser and is not fixable with code?

I have checked the code and the entire .entry-content posted is present in my child style.css.

I did notice the extra semicolon and tried it both ways, with one and two, just in case I may have missed something. I’m still learning here. I posted the correct one.

I do also notice now that Firefox is not showing the wrap. Only Safari.

I entered the code and no change. I am using Safari and I also noticed it on Firefox. Like you said, Chrome looks fine.

I previously was able to hide it in the twenty eleven theme on a different site. I don’t remember the exact code and several I have tried in twenty thirteen are not working.

Thanks. That did bring the text align to the left “home” button but is still cutting the text off on the right side margin.

Any ideas?

Still looking for a solution for this.

I have found many different ways to get rid of the dates, but none seem to work anymore according to people that have tried. Also most pertain to older themes. Haven’t found one yet for Twenty Thirteen.

Found the following code in CSS 5.2 Entry Meta, I changed the “before” to “none” and placed in my child theme. Not sure if that will work but I’ll see.

content: “\f303”;
}
