So I tried following the instructions on that support site. I logged into Network Solutions and manipulated some of the .php files from my wordpress folder.
I’m not quite sure what I did, but now it’s showing that all the .php files in the WordPress directory are 0 bytes. Did I wipe the site clean?

Oh, I understand now. I’m so clueless when it comes to this stuff that I didn’t even know the article was referring to functions on the web host page. The network solutions site is currently down, but once I gain access I’ll let you know how everything goes.

I’m trying to use the directions in the article, but I am unable to log back into wordpress to make the changes.
This whole time I have been editing the website online using worpdress, and the files have been stored on network solutions.
I can no longer use my old login URL, https://cap-e.com/wordpress1/wp-login.php .
Can anyone tell me how to gain access to my site again?
