In reply to: [Page-list] Installed Plugin, not displaying pagesI did activate the plugin. I have since disabled it because I tried a different one. Here’s the list of plugins I have installed and activated:
Contact Form 7
Enable Media Replace
Go Daddy Quick Setup
Welcome to WordPress
Wordfence Security
WordPress SEOWould any of those plugins be preventing it from working? I am using the Modernize theme from themeforest.net. I checked to see if there was something in the theme for sitemaps but I couldn’t find anything.

In reply to: [Audio Player] Timer not working on standalone versionNevermind. Found another thread that had the solution. I just downloaded and replaced only the player.swf file from the WP plugin download and now it works!

In reply to: [Print, PDF, Email by PrintFriendly] Print-page showing only right sidebarYeah that’s exactly what I did. I already have the
<div class="print-only coupons">
But as soon as I add the print-no class like you mentioned above the whole page duplicates in the print window. Sidebar, images, header, everything. I’m using a theme, so the structure of the code is based on how the theme is set up. So not sure why this is not working. It’s weird that it’s only seeing the info in my sidebar.

In reply to: links to pdfs won't work the same as other linksHey! I figured it out. I found the source. It was in the header.php page. I also am trying to figure out how to move the text that is from the href title attribute over a little. If you know how to fix that maybe you can tell me. I’m gonna keep looking at this header.php page though in the meantime and see if there’s a fix in there.

In reply to: links to pdfs won't work the same as other linksOk. I’m looking at Appearance > Menus and the URL for that link is to the pdf. What should I be looking for? Here’s what it says in the upper left hand corner “The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the ‘Custom Menu’ widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar.”
I’m new to WordPress…familiar with HTML and CSS but new to WordPress, so I’m not sure what else to look at.

In reply to: links to pdfs won't work the same as other linksOk. Well I found out where it’s coming from. I was simply just right-clicking on the page and then viewing the source code. I finally found where the source is. It doesn’t actually show in the css but in the top there’s some jquery code where it’s telling it to add that background image (pdf1.png) if it is a pdf link. So how do I change that jquery code to not treat pdf links differently. Or what settings can I change?

In reply to: links to pdfs won't work the same as other linksOk well the only Plugin that I can see that we had was the Broken Link Checker. I deactivated that but still no change. How are you seeing that it’s looking for a background image for that link only? I have another link to a pdf in the sub-menu items that won’t work either. I’ve viewed the source code to this page and just can’t see where it’s calling for the background image.
Here’s the other page that has the problem. It’s the very first link under “Life in the FTTA”. https://ftta.org/prospective-trainees/

In reply to: links to pdfs won't work the same as other linksSo there’s my problem…I’m not wanting to use an image for the background hover effect. I want it to be a background-color only just like on the link “Maps & Directions”. Was that background image showing in the #sidebar styles? I just can’t find where to change it.

In reply to: links to pdfs won't work the same as other linksBut the main menu links are also links. It’s a main menu item like “Maps & Directions” and “Visiting Short-Term”. If you hover over those you’ll see there’s a background-color on the hover.
