Many thanks for this code – works a treat. I usually try to avoid custome code on websites because of the issues of support. I have tried other forms of captcaha but still the SPAM gets through. I guess this solution will work for a while until SPAMmers realise that their code needs updating!

I have had exactly the same problem.
All the froms where I have the telephone field, which was set to United Kindom, were set to Afghanistan. The problem was reported to me by one of my customers – not good.
I have had to change back all of my customers forms to UK.
I no longer trust your software Quality Assurance and have turned off auto update.Thank you – it is very arrogant to make a change like this and not consider what the end user might want. With CF7 the select field values are blank and you can enter what value you want – I suggest you follow their lead.
What was the last version that did not suffer from this restriction of the field value?
As my sites have auto update turned on I now have extra work installing and testing the older version.

Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Nonce failuresI can enable both – if I only enable Redis then in Cache Settings – Object – Method I need to set this to Redis and if I only enable Memcached then Method is set to Memcached? Sorry to be pedantic.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Nonce failuresThanks I have set it on and will see if this fixes the problem.
Would you also recommend that Memcached and Redis be enabled on the server?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Nonce failuresNo this is a default install. Is it recommended that ESI is enabled?
Just to let you know I have checked Stripe this morning after making these changes and there is another failure -so it appears these changes have not resolved the problem. I have checked the server PHP version and this is set to 7.4. My I am using shared hosting supplied by Krystal and I have the Litespeed Caching plugin v3.6.4 installed. However I have excluded all forms from the Litespeed cache.
Hi I have shared the Google Drive with you.
I have also changed Validation to Server Side and Rendering to Load form using AJAX. I changed the Mode of payment to Test and the form worked ok – I have now changed it back to Live. However I will keep and eye on this as the problem has been intermittent. When checking Stripe before making these changes I could see another failed payment: Incomplete the reason being PaymentIntent status:
requires_confirmation. This time for this form: https://3ccr.org/family-group-enrolment/. I hope these two changes have solved this problem.Hello – I have loaded one of the forms from the website onto Google Drive. Please provide a link so that I can share it with you.
The theme has been created using an old version of Template Toaster – so I don’t think I can update the jQuery version. However I have also had this red bar problem on another site that uses the Divi template and I assume the jQuery version would be more current.
RegardsHi I have contacted Stripe about this problem and this is their reply:
“After carefully checking on the account, the plugin (WordPress Forminator) should be confirming the payment intents here once the customers have processed their payment on their end. Stripe doesn’t know what’s happening with those incomplete payments.
To check the incomplete payment, I would highly suggest reaching out to your plugin for further assistance.”
This seems to be a serious problem with the plugin.
RegardsHi a bit more information. I have checked the Stripe account linked to 3ccr.org and there are a number of payments shown as Incomplete the reason being PaymentIntent status:
requires_confirmation. My assumptions is that Frominator is not always sending this confirmation and subsequently fails without any notification other than this blank red bar.Hi sorry about the delay getting back to you.
Before I create the mu-plugin I thought I would try a few things. I set the form to load from ajax, as you requested and the form did not load at all! I then went through all of the plugins disabling each one. When I disabled Wordfence the form appeared after a short delay and the form also displayed correctly in the Contact pop up. If I turn off ajax and with Wordfence disabled the Contact form on the page appears instantly but the form in the pop up is back to small screen display. If I reactivate Wordfence with ajax disabled then I am back to how you have seen it. Clearly there is an issue with Wordfence and ajax.Yes you are missing the point. As you have done – if you compare the Contact page display of the form by clicking on the link I have provided (this is the same as the Contact navbar button – NO speech bubble) you get the screen you have sent me. However, if you click on the Contact navbar button WITH the speech bubble the same form is displayed in the Divi Overlays plugin pop up (i.e. not a page as such). You will notice the fields (First Name, Last Name etc) are displayed as for a small screen device (such as a phone) when in fact there is plenty of room to display the form exactly as shown when viewing the Contact page.
I hope this makes more sense? Basically compare on the same size screen the display when clicking the navbar Contact with AND without the speech bubble and you will see the problem. Many thanks for your help.
