Thanks everyone. I’ll take a shot at following your recommendations on cleaning out the old site but will definitely pass this info onto the site owner. This is obviously not my area of expertise and not what I agreed to when I said I’d manage his posts. I am very appreciative of your assistance.

My use of the word ‘bypass’ was misleading. I apologize – what I meant was if I make a new template using the SiteDelux tool on Fatcow’s control panel, and add the content into the pages and then try to publish those pages, will they publish if there are already pages of the same name on the civilization engineering site that have been disabled by the malware?

Thank you Seacoast Web Design for your quick reply with correct analysis. An earlier sequence of events regarding this site and its owner point to site sabotage by someone way more tech sophisticated than me.

If I upload a revised site from Fatcow using their tools and bypass WordPress will it override the broken one?
