Something strange is happening.

If I just publish the title, it works fine. It’s when I want to publish the text of my article that I encounter a problem and am taken to a 404 error page. Please I really need some help here.

So can anybody help me with this problem. It’s been 16 hours since I posted and still haven’t resolved the problem.

Could use some help here.

Not a plugin as I am been using the same plugins with the same theme for several weeks now without incident. I have also been using IE7 for a few months now, also without incident.

That being said I resolved the problem.

How I did it:

Went into file manager, located .htaccess file and edited by adding “SecFilterEngine off” without the quotes and then saved the changes. Works fine now, but for how long I don’t know.

I understand that HTTP 406 is a rare error and that it is usually created as a result of something that occurred on the webhoster’s end. Has anybody else heard that?

Thank you homeycomb. Funny thing, my host provider didn’t have a clue. It doesn’t matter now, since I have my site up and running again. That fact beggars the question, what kind of ITs are working at my service provider.

I should mention that my provider figured I would have to start from scratch. Lucky for me I didn’t believe them. Its all good now. Thanks for your quick response homeycomb.
