I can assure you that we do not have any malicious or meddlesome JS (or ANY code) that would ever effect your site so negatively.

Additionally, our plugin is built to be easy to install and enable, and none of our code would linger in the way you are describing! That being said, the content that you may have seen appearing within related content is our promoted content feature, designed as an option for site-owners to use as a monetization tool.

It is easy to turn off, even if you would like to keep related content (internal recommendations) on as a feature:

Lastly, if you would like, I would be happy to take a look at your site and see if I can at least help you find out what is causing what you describe as “windows that keep on popping up,” as we do not have any features related to advertising that act as pop-up windows, except for our “post share” window, that is related to our share-buttons, and is also an opt-in feature easily toggled off if you so choose.

Additionally, is it possible that you might be running a WP caching plugin (like WP Super Cache, for example)? If so, that plugin may be displaying a rendered, cached version of your pages/site from before the time of an uninstall. Clearing that cache may be a quick fix! Please let me know if that’s a possibility.

Let’s get to the bottom of this together, I am sure what you are seeing is frustrating, but I am also confident it is not coming from our tools!
