Thank you but this answer does not help me at all. I have already asked for help from Amazon and they told me that there is something wrong with my website’s script, not with the Amazon code. I need help with WordPress, and how to find problems with the script, not with the Amazon end.

No, I’m not using a plugin. I just copy the ad code from the Amazon associates website and paste it in an HTML block in the WordPress editor (using Gutenberg).

The theme I’m using is Wisdom Blog. It’s a free theme but I’ve customized the CSS quite a bit.

I think the problem is coming from the Javascript not working. I’ve used a few different plugins to try to optimize my site speed, and it might have broken something with the script. I’m currently using a plugin called Asset Cleanup to unload unused javascript. I also tried Autoptomize and Hummingbird before, and I think that maybe trying all of these plugins broke something.

I just don’t know where exactly the issue is, how to fix it, or where to look. So any help is greatly appreciated!
