In reply to: query_posts not working since upgrade to 2.1I have the custom query string plugin on my blog and I noticed when I put 2.1 on that I was getting ALL blog posts to the front page instead of what I had defined both in the plugin and on the options page. So I think there is some sort of an issue there.

In reply to: WP 2.1 ReleaseI installed it on my principle blog and there were so many conflicts with plugins that I reinstalled 2.0.5. I wasn’t getting a WYSIWG toolbar or an upload widget at all. So I think I’ll wait until some of these plugins update for the new release before I install again.
Also, for some reason it showed ALL my posts on the front page even though I have it restricted to six.

In reply to: Does this design display correctly?I appreciate the help. ??
So you’re saying the site aligns to the left because of the ads? What is it in the coding that causes this, do you know?
The site doesn’t load correctly in 800×600?

In reply to: Does this design display correctly? The “wrap” “no-wrap” coding is from the google search code she wanted to use instead of the WordPress search form. So I don’t know to fix that without removing that section altogether.
Yes, the site is rather graphic intensive. But that is the client’s perogative as she runs a hollywood gossip site that caters mainly to people who want to see lots of pictures.
Again, my big issue was if the site displays correct for the majority of users or not.

In reply to: Does this design display correctly?Heh, I’d be tempted to think the same. But she’s really worried that it’s not displaying correctly for some people. My husband has said it could be an issue with the ISP people are using having a “proxy server” and they’re viewing a cached copy off the server and are unable to see the design changes. See, I’d been using a full width design the day before before we switched to the fixed width. However, some people are still viewing the content in the full width layout but the rest of the design images are from the fixed width design. Restarting computers and browsers doesn’t solve it.
So I thought I would ask on here if anyone could go view the site and tell me if they saw any display problems. Does everything lay out the way it should? I’d be *very* appreciative of any feedback.

In reply to: Does this design display correctly?I have worked on the validation… the errors that are there now are related to either the scripts she wanted to run on her sidebar or the lack of “alt” tags in her images in her posts. Nothing that I could see that would cause display issues.

In reply to: Theme compatabilityAlso, I’ve found inserting an image called “screenshot.jpg” into the theme folder will cause a thumbnail to show up in the admin panel. It can be a png too, not sure about gif.

In reply to: Won’t access “Single.php” on new postsYep it sure is. As long as I leave the permalink structure on the default setting it works fine. Soon as I try to add any customization to it, I can’t access the single view. Weird!
Anyhow, thanks for the help.

In reply to: Won’t access “Single.php” on new postsYeah, I have no idea why it will show “Hello World” properly but not the other two. And no one else has had this trouble?
