Very off topic, but can’t find any other way to message another community member. Selym, I’ve read through a few of your posts and it looks like you’ve put quite a bit of effort into developing a wordpress install to cater to your family, including albums and genealogy. I’m gathering some data to take the same approach and wondered if you had documented your efforts anywhere or if you were willing to share your process.

Here is .htaccess file under the root WP directory

I also tried rebuilding the image structure using the “Create new URL friendly image slugs” button. No change though.

I just recreated the page and used a custom permalink, but the issue still occurs.

This is the page I have currently set to be shown when visiting the root url

Results are the same using the default theme as well.

The page that I am using for when people visit the website, is a standard page with some basic info on it. Under “Reading Settings” is where I have it set to display the page, instead of the latest blog posts.

I have left the plugin enabled at this time for you to see the results. As a side note, the static page that should be displayed, has a permalink of https://type2.calivw78.com/ , with no additional label after the main url. Not sure if this would be an issue or not, but it hasn’t been until I checked out this captcha post.

argh…my apologies. I used the same plugin for both so I thought the difference may be in WP and not the WPG2 plugin.
