Anyone having issues with 1.7 showing this error when trying to connect to wordpress.com?

Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_client
Error Message: Unknown client_id.

My site is theonering.net btw

None of our posts are being sent to our subscriber list. When someone goes to subscribe via the widget they get the message ‘There was an error when subscribing, please try again.’

– What browser are you using when the problem occurs?

I am using Safari – however I have reports from our users from ALL browsers.

– What other plugins are you using?

RonnieSan – GREAT TIP! Thank you. That plugin is what I have in place in the meantime while they work out the bug.

BTW – For me, on a mac, doesn’t matter what browser I use. None of the other options posted on this thread worked either.

Very surprised that WordPress released this with a bug of this kind in it. I would definitely not suggest folks update until this is all worked out.

I have exactly the same problem – visual editor just disappeared on all of my installs of WordPress that I updated. Doh!

The first from ‘pretzlaff’ above worked perfectly for me.

The two lines from the original functions.php:

$comments_by_type = &separate_comments(get_comments('post_id=' . $id));
return count($comments_by_type['comment']);

And the changed lines:

$comments_by_type = &separate_comments(get_comments('post_id=' . $id));
return count($comments_by_type['comment']);
