I am using default theme, Twenty Ten 1.2.

This is the directory where it uploaded automatically when I went to “Custom Header” under Appearance properties.

Sorry, I should have also mentioned that this issue is not only with headers, same thing happens when I try to upload a picture into a blog. I see the picture uploaded into the /blogs.dir/ folder (four versions of it, different sizes), but the image does not show up in the blog.

Any way to hide “Archives” and “Meta”?
Friend I am building a page for does not like that, she wants all pages to look the same.

To answer your question, yes you can. I have few WordPress Multisite installations on my server and each install hosts several domains, all using one IP address.

You did not explain if netmix.co and elenarue.com are hosted on the same WordPress multisite install or different ones.

It sounds like you don’t have a correct server configuration. If both domains are on the same WP install, than your server needs to point to the some location of WP install, and WP MU will redirect to correct domain.

If both domains are on different WP installations, than your server needs to point each domain to different WP location.

Your hosting company should be able to help you to make sure the server is setup correctly.

Ah yes, I had the same problem which was driving me crazy, I just had to change permalinks to default and it works now.

It works, but it sucks since the default permalinks are not human friendly.
Oh well, at least it works.

In reply to: help, site won’t work

jdingram, WP multiste and Hive are totally different and are used for different things.
WP Multisite is designed to allow many users to register and create their own blogs, just like on wordpress.com

Hive on the other hand is designed for one admin to manage many blogs and domains on one wordpress install.

So it is not silly to use Hive since it has a different purpose than WP multisite.
