  • Note: What you will be looking to do is find “Relationships”. You can create a taxonomy or each custom post type or use the same one for multiple post types. How you link the taxonomy to a certain post type is the “Relationships” option.

PODS can do everything. It’s over my head, I am not an expert. I just know that what you are looking to do can all be done with PODS. They do have great tutorial videos that will help you along I am sure. Someone with knowledge of wordpress there is not really a more flexible plugin. You can extend a custom post type created by another plugin. Like the calendars you are talking about. You would go find that post type in PODS by clicking on “Extend existing post type” find calendars post type that you are talking about.

And then add a field to it, taxonomy. You can create a new taxonomy or add an existing. You can have 1 taxonomy be tied to multiple post types. Best bet is to download pods and then go watch their videos. They have hundreds of videos because of how much you can do. You might add the buddyforms extension for PODS first, and then see what is possible with it. I have not tried that.

Go download the plugin PODS and you will have a hay day. It will allow you to really expand what you are trying to do with far greater control than you could ever hope… They also have an extension or PODS as well I believe.

But what you are trying to do is a few clicks of a button with PODS.

Thank you, someone fixed it and I didn’t even notice. I take back everything I said. Because I do not know when they fixed it or how long went by. I know I complained last week about the license key not working and it is today… So you are off the hook, highly recommend the plugin. It’s worth the extra money now that I can see what it does.

Hey, someone fixed my issue I think! Let me double check and I will report back. I just now looked at it, and it says the license key is now active.

`Same issue, Can’t do anything with it.

There are 4-5 people within the last week all complaining about the same thing, and no one has done anything. They said they would fix it in the next update. When there is nothing wrong with this plugin other than a very simple line of function code that needs to be tweaked for the buddboss templates… I am losing faith. I have been following this thread for a week and finally decided to create an account to express my concerns for wanting it fixed. Its a great plugin that we all could gain a lot of traffic from and new members.

I have the same issue mate, we all are running buddyboss with the boss theme. If you download the Buddy Builder plugin and use their default templates it works, but you will not like the default templates.. But you will see that its just a simple line of coding in their plugin that is readying the buddypress templates and not buddyboss default templates .. Hopefully they fix it soon, as it’s a great plugin otherwise….. I want to buy several of their premium plugins, but it makes me nervous to as something like this would take one of their developers less than ten mins to fix and we are going on 6 days and still no solution. If you all fix this in the next few days, I would like to buy your annual membership for all your premium templates, but I am afraid we will have the same issue with many of those plugins and would want to know we could get a fix in a relative small amount of time. I would understand if it was a hard fix, but this one is easy.

Hello, it should be noted that the person above I believe is using buddyboss. Because I have the same problem. It’s so annoying. Please help us! Its a simple fix that would take someone 10 mins. Everyone is switching to buddyboss its just was smoother an cleaner… When I used a template that was coded by buddypress (the new buddyboss elementor plugin called “Buddy Buider” it gives you some default templates to start with. When I installed that plugin and tried out one of thier default templates the ugly square went away and the share button showed up. switched back to the default buddyboss templates and back to the ugly square.

We really really love your plugin, it’s a must have for anyone. I can’t belive its the only one that has been created and that other buddyboss users have not said anything, it makes me think there is another plugin I do not know about! Other than this one issue. NO COMPLAINTS… .Please make this work for buddyboss default templates for the buddyboss theme. Works fine with buddypress templates just not boss! Thought I would add that, as I saw that he did not
