I’m hoping to add this feature in an upcoming release.
@storeserr I just wanted to give you an update so you know I didn’t abandon this. The calendar drop downs are breaking when using a non-English language. I have the Spanish translation ready but I need to solve that calendar problem first. Hopefully I can work that out quickly.
@storeserr I put in some work today towards getting translation files ready. I’m going to hopefully get that finished and released next week. The initial Spanish translation is mostly going to be done through AI (my Spanish is awful) but hopefully it’s enough to get going in the right direction.
@storeserr Business Manager is definitely lacking in translation capabilities. The original developer never set it up and I have failed to fix that in recent releases. I’ll add it to my to do list for the next release.
There are no custom database tables being used; everything is stored the tables that WordPress uses for regular posts and pages.
There’s no specific API but you could theoretically use the WordPress REST API to get at the data. I’ve never bothered to try that personally so I can’t tell you exactly how easily or well that works in practice.
I just recently took over development of Business Manager (and its extensions). I haven’t had enough time to thoroughly review the code for the Payroll extension or update its software licensing implementation yet so I’ve decided to remove it from the site for now.
I’m hoping to get to that review done soon but I have two releases for the base plugin I want to get out first.
The other extensions, Custom Fields and Asset Manager, have been reviewed and updated since I took over for anyone reading this that is interested in checking them out.
The tasks have been updated, you can see a tutorial here:
Not as of yet, but that is a great suggestion! We have a few new features in the works. We would love for you to put it on our feature requests page!
We will update that field so that association is more clear! Thank you!
That is the ASSIGNMENT field – where you assign the DOCUMENT to an EMPLOYEE — you have to create the EMPLOYEE first.

Document names are named at your local computer, but you can change the RECORD name of the file in the TITLE:

Did you figure this out?
Can you send a screenshot of what you mean?
Can you send a screenshot of what you are experiencing?
Thank you! We’ll get it fixed!
