In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Costing us SO much un-billable time!I know this post was from 5 months ago, but it’s funny when I read posts like these where people complain about how it’s costing them money, etc. Does anyone ever think about how much time and money it costs the author of this plugin to put this once great plugin out there for all of you to use for free on sites that you charge clients for? Just go about and update your sites with another free contact plugin and stop your complaining. Maybe the author of the plugin got sick and tired of doing a plugin for free? Sheesh, the nerve.
I used to use this plugin all the time, but when I started up two new websites recently, I noticed the plugin hadn’t been updated in a year or so. The latest changelog (12/18/18) was to fix two security issues. If you take a look at the changelog, not much has happened for years. My advice would be to find another plugin. Right now, I’m trying out XML Sitemap & Google News. It’s simple and does the job. No complaints from Google either.

@suanlian – How about you make your own plugin and you can do it the way you want? Until then, if you feel so strongly about it, you can always make a big donation to the author of this plugin for the work that he/she/they have to do.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] sitemap showing old data??so difficult to use and no body to talk to.
Aww, that’s sad…
Okay, I’ll try and help if you haven’t figured it out already.
- A site link would help. In fact, a link to your sitemap would help a lot.
- The plugin should update the sitemap every time you post something.
- It will only update the sitemap if you have allowed that content to be on the sitemap. This can be found in the settings of the plugin under the heading “Sitemap Content” (scroll down) and maybe the Excluded Items section.
- As for generating one manually, I believe there used to be a link in the settings, but I don’t see one now. But, if you post something to your website, it should.
Not sure if that helped any. Maybe a screenshot of your settings?
Hmm…have you tried going into the database and getting the content from there? I’m not sure if what you need is the text, image(s), or something else. Also, if that page has been public previously, then maybe check google’s cached version of it? Other than that, maybe someone else can offer something up. Good luck!
Resolved it. Turns out that the update somehow made me susceptible to the Rocket Loader that was enabled in Cloudflare. Didn’t have a problem with it before the update though. Oh well, now I can go back to using Elementor.
Check out https://docs.elementor.com/article/360-elementor-cloudflare-rocket-loader for more information.

Just open the content with the regular WP editor. You’ll lose some formatting, but better than losing the content.
Yes, I have the same problem. Can’t get into my content to make changes or to add new stuff. Do I have to really go back to using the regular WP editor?

In reply to: [Scheduled Post Trigger] Does not work as described.@funeralcom – So you are using this plugin on 50 websites? Did you at least try and work out some type of payment for her technical support? You are getting this plugin free of charge, seems to work for most people, AND you are using it on 50 websites. Otherwise, do like I do and simply uninstall it. More than likely, you have an issue on your end that prevents it from working.

In reply to: [Mesmerize] I need Help with PRODid you ever get a reply by email? I’m just curious how their support is for the PRO version.
@amohr – you need to seriously relax. now i see why you received such a response. you are obviously a hot-head and lack maturity. you are the reason some developers don’t bother with free plugins. please, share with us your website so we can test your customer service skills.
Well, I believe I got it to align (somehow) before, but now I know what to try if somehow, something happens and it goes back to being not centered. Thank you so much for your help. o/

In reply to: [Forget About Shortcode Buttons] Problems with new update@designsandcode – honestly, what the mod said about “being responsible for the house FOREVER” is so true. as soon as you log into their site and something DOES go wrong, even a year from the last time you logged in, they will be suspicious of you and blame you. Then, you’ll get bad ratings, bad reviews, bad everything. it’s not worth it.
