In reply to: Lightweight comment approved notification? Thanks for the help. I had found that plugin, but it’s loaded with features I do not need. My experience with feature loaded plugins is that they are not that lightweight. That is why I was looking for something much more simple. However, it may be my only option.
Well, you have inconsistent posts ??
Well, I can’t deny that ??
I have Ad Inserter set for automatic display after paragraph, plus the additional settings as described above.
Thanks Spacetime. I added “<img” without the quotes to the “do not contain” box. It was successful in terms of not placing my Adsense ads directly under the image. However, it is not consistent in placing the ads under the first paragraph. In some posts it places the ad after the second or third paragraph.
Below are some examples:
https://allgaragefloors.com/metallic-garage-floor-epoxy/
https://allgaragefloors.com/densifier-sealer-garage-build-project/
I have the settings configured at paragraph number – 1, minimum number of paragraphs – 1, minimum number of words – 10.
Am I missing something to prevent this?
Thanks again.
Thanks Spacetime. Heres the link. I assumed there was a common fix for this. I don’t have adsense ads serving on the homepage. Just pages and posts. As I said, I want the ads inserted below the first paragraph. It does if the image has a caption. If it doesn’t however the ad is served immediately below the image.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Wp-Insert] Prevent ad from showing on sticky post for home pageIt worked great, thank you. It’s so obvious now….. I was so focused on the rules for single page and single blog post that I completely overlooked it.

In reply to: W3 Total Cache makes font thin and appear smallerThanks WPyogi. It turns out the minify settings are not playing nice with Genesis. When I disabled minify my font came back.

In reply to: W3 Total Cache makes font thin and appear smallerHere is a link to the demo site to see an example of the font. I did not upgrade to the HTML5 version, however, the font is the same.
I will check out the W3 Total Cache forum as well, thank you.

In reply to: Feed has stopped workingI tried resaving my permalinks but it didn’t work.

In reply to: Feed has stopped workingI’m using post name permalinks. The only change I have made on my site was to install an announcement plugin. I learned that my installation was about one week after I started to have the feed problems though. I uninstalled the plugin to see if it made a difference but it didn’t.

In reply to: Feed has stopped workingWhen I installed wordpress my feed worked fine. The url https://www.mydomain.com/feed/ would produce my wordpress site’s feed. I then installed feedburner, followed the directions and everything worked fine for the last 2 months. Then suddenly I noticed that the feed was not working. If you clicked on the RSS button, it would ask if you wanted to bookmark the feed, but there was no feed there. RSS feed links for my site that I had installed on other sites no longer worked either.
With the news I’ve been reading lately about google dropping feedburner in the near future, I thought maybe it had something to do with that so I deleted my burned link with feedburner and deleted the feedburner plugin. I then checked the standard wordpress feed by entering the url https://www.mydomain.com/feed/. It linked me to a feedburner page that says an error has occured. 404, feed not found. If I deleted my burned in link and the plugin, how could feedburner still be linked to my feed?
I then burned a new feed link with feedburner, installed a different feedburner plugin and I get the same error message. I can’t figure out were the problem lies. Is it feedburner or my site? When I tried to eliminate feedburner I was still linked to it somehow. I thought that by breaking the link to them it would tell me whether or not the problem is with my site’s feed or not. I’m totally lost at this point.

In reply to: Instant WordPressI’ve downloaded instant wordpress and it won’t open to the control panel. I followed instructions under FAQ for windows 7 all to no avail. I’ve closed firewalls, turned off internet security, clicked on windows 7 compatibility and etc. I just get a blank screen that eventually says internet access denied. Anyone else found a way around this?

In reply to: Live theme preview not working with 3.5 updateThe problem seems to have resolved itself. I did clear my browser and eventually logged back on. When I did it worked. Not sure if that was the answer or not?

In reply to: [Analyticator] google analyticator will not load with new wp 3.5 updateI wasn’t aware of the debug bar and just installed it. It doesn’t do anything when I click on the bar. Am I missing something simple here?
