Sorry you had a problem. TWC has not broken, it’s just does not support multi-sites yet. We are working with a couple users right now to get it there, but it probably will not be available for a couple more weeks.

As for turning of the ADD button so that widgets are dragable again. This is actually a built in option in WordPress. Inside your admin go to wp admin > appearance > widgets and select the screen options tab in the top right. Inside you will find an accessibility mode. Just turn that off and you will be good to go.

Also in the future, if you have another problem where a plugin does not un-install for you. You can simply change the name of the plugin folder under the plugins directory and it will force deactivate the plugin for you.

Sorry your not happy with the plugin. If you think that it is more limited then the core wordpress then you obviously have not used it enough. If you read the comparison chart you would see that there is an ad/branding free version available. Also we strongly feel that $9 is not to much to ask for what has taken over 2 months of nonstop development. I’m sorry you feel that is to much to contribute towards a great plugin, fanatical support, and superb coding. Maybe you should consider building the system yourself or finding a completely free version somewhere else.

It’s not going to clear your widgets back to default upon deactivating it.
this uses the same widget system as wordpress. upon activation twc should show the widgets from your core. upon deactivation you should still see these same widgets.

If your widgets get thrown in the trash when activating/deactivating then we need to do a little more work on this to avoid confusion.

The problem is that different people want this to operate in different ways. I’ve installed my own subdirectory and did some tricky redirects to further confuse the plugins. here’s my fixes.

Smasher if you do buy the PRO version and are not happy or it doesn’t work for what you need, I will give you a complete refund. That way you have a chance to try it out and see if it does what you you are looking for.

We use the emails for support and tracking. They are not sold, added to newsletters, or anything else. We very openly state on the right hand side of the first page that we do this, so that you know before it is done. By using the plugin you agree that it is ok.

We haven’t forced anyone to download and instal this. Nor do we collect this information with any malicious intent. It is simple so we can help our members. I’m sorry you feel this is obtrusive to your needs.

As for our PRO features, we ask users to pay $9. This is a very small fee for the hard work and dedication we have put into the development of this software. For everything that is included and all the time it has taken we feel it is a very small thing to ask for. I’m also sorry that you feel that is to much to contribute towards hard work and good programming.

In your widgets there is an option tab in the top right that allows you to activate / deactivate the accessibility mode.

We have not yet, but it should work without a problem. If you run into any problems we would be happy to help.

I would love to have the plugin translated. I haven’t touched on any localization code for the plugin just yet. We’re still in beta.

I will go through the plugin and set it up for localization, when I’m done I’ll get you the english file so that translating will be easier for you.
