In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Send Hidden UTM Fields to MailchimpWe’re trying to use the?Easy UTM tracking with contact form 7?plugin to capture UTM parameters in CF7. We want to then send those parameters on to MailChimp. So far we’ve had no luck getting this work.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Send Hidden UTM Fields to MailchimpMore or less, yes, that’s what we want. We’ll put a UTM tagged link in a post email, etc that will send them to a post or page on our site. Then, if they choose to give us their information after browsing the site, we’ll know what channel and campaign they used to get to us.
It appeared that the CF7 related plugin UTM for CF7 should do that. I’ll pursue it with them as well.
Thank you for your help.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Send Hidden UTM Fields to Mailchimp“…we have some other way to insert GET parameters…” I’d be interested in that.
I looked here: https://www.mc4wp.com/kb/populate-fields-url-data/
We’d like to be able to collect the parameters after the user has browsed other pages, so we know where they originally got the link. Thanks!

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Send Hidden UTM Fields to MailchimpYou can see it here: https://www.bydesignthestore.com/lead-capture-test/
After trying to tweak it, now the code code to send to MC is visible.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Send Hidden UTM Fields to MailchimpThank you for your reply.
I’d like to clarify:
From Easy UTM I added this to my form: [hidden utm_source default:get], along with other UTM parameters.
Then I added this to my form: [mc4wp-USOURCE id:utm_source]
where “USOURCE” is the target field in MailChimp and “utm_source” is (or should be) the parameter that gets captured by Easy UTM.I placed the ‘hidden’ fields at the top of the form and the form to MC actions just before the submit button. The name and email fields work fine.
Here’s the entire test form:
[hidden utm_source default:get]
[hidden utm_medium default:get]
[hidden utm_campaign default:get]Your name [text* mc4wp-FNAME id:name]
Your email [email* mc4wp-EMAIL id:email]
[mc4wp-USOURCE id:utm_source]
[submit “Submit”]
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Cannot Edit Posts with Duplicate Posts ActivatedWe did do some conflict testing and discovered that the Pods plugin (for custom post types) seemed to be the offending plugin. As mentioned above this is a plugin we don’t really need so we made adjustments and deleted it. Things seem to be working now.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Cannot Edit Posts with Duplicate Posts ActivatedWell, that’s pretty wild – we have those three plugins on our site.
I’ve been looking at getting rid of Pods since we don’t really need it anymore. I’ve deactivated it and reactivated Yoast Duplicate Posts and things appear to be working. Essential Grid is ‘essential’ to our site and Yoast Duplicate Posts is more important.
Thanks for the reply.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Cannot Edit Posts with Duplicate Posts ActivatedWe actually get a scary “Critical error…” message.
Hopefully they see this and investigate. I sent it to them but they said they don’t do direct support for the free plugin
I think it’s fixed —
lot’s of searching and most results referenced white extra spaces in .php files, my problem was in wp-config after the last after a closing ?> tag
OK – live site broke after deleting. Our site is working, it is the login to admin is the problem.
I deactivated and deleted the plugin. As a test I went to another browser WHILE leaving the site open in admin. In the new browser when I go to wp-admin I get this:

My plan was to get my WordPress install updated. What if I went ahead and updated WordPress – since I’m still in the admin?

In reply to: [WP Mautic Form Integrator] Fatal ErrorAnything? We’d really like to take a look at this plugin.
I just installed a clone of our site on a local test server and did the uninstall. As far as I can see it all went well. The plugin was deactivated and deleted with no ill effects.
We will proceed with the live site soon – no news will be good news.
Thanks for your help

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Category Page Posts Not Showingfollow up: it does seem posts do show up, but I’d like them to appear sooner. Say within 15 minutes or so of posting not an hour. Can we make that happen?

In reply to: [Imsanity] Images loaded to posts on MobileI think we’re seeing the same thing from the Android WP app. Images uploaded in posts or directly to the media library do not re-size or reduce.
Images uploaded uploaded from our PCs re-size and reduce really well.
Thanks
