Hi Steve – we found the issue. There was a .htaccess file in the uploads folder. We have a security service that helps keep us free of issues, and apparently they put it in there. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the reply, Steve. I’m able to get the site to come up, I’m just not getting any of the images that should be showing up on any of the pages (with the exception of one, strangely).

I’ll try disabling the plugins, then use one of the default themes, and see what happens.

I’m looking for the same thing – is there a plugin that allows this? I just need my blog posts to be protected so that only the people I allow in can read the blog. Is there anything like that?

WP should work correctly in FF and IE, but this is a workaround if you run into the problem I ran into.

To clarify, this is in the Widgets section of the admin. It wont allow me to edit that widget at all. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Anybody? Where can i find the code that controls the widget names?

Take a look at my site – the section called Recent Posts is really comments. Blah. I need to change it. Any thoughts?

I just figured this out – my hosting company didnt switch everything back from the new server to the one i was actually using. Very confusing, but they’re fixing it now.

Hi guys – I’m actually having a similar problem. I check the path and it still seems to be an issue. I cant install any plugins or themes, for some reason. Is there anything else I should check?

Hi everyone – I checked with my hosting company and they dont have mod_rewrite set to be allowed. Are there other programs or options to get around this? Any other way I can approach it?

Now it’s working – I might just be a little slow – I guess the categories don’t show up on the site until you add them to a post. ??
