The Cherry Framework slideshow function is working now so this is a non-issue.

Got this message today at 10 AM:
Howdy! Your site at https://dniphotography.com has been updated automatically to WordPress 4.5.4.

That means it was downgraded from 4.6

I tried loading images into a slideshow and it worked. So I tried the Lil’ Pinup post and it still would not work. So I deleted the post, made a new one with a different name, and it still failed.

So I deleted those files from my Media folder, uploaded them again, and now it works.

My WordPress site says I can update to 4.6.1. But you gotta know I am so paranoid I don’t dare. Not at least until I add some new content while it’s working.

So I guess this issue is resolved.

Thanks Claudio. At least if a client mentions it, I know how to respond.

Otherwise I’m loving the plugin. I had been sending PDF proof sheets, then tell them hit CTRL “+” to make it bigger or “-” to make it smaller. This is much more professional looking. Sweet.

I just did as you suggested.

When I’ve gone to their site previously, it seemed like the site was for pros, not John Q public. So I was kind of embarrassed to be there, since I don’t any coding at all.

Anyway, we’ll see what happens.

Should I leave this thread open, just in case, or close it?

Don’t know how it happened, but it’s working fine now. Once gallery was 353 images, with now issue.

The plugin works great.

I was using the Yoast site maps thing. Should I then turn off the Yoast sitemaps thing in favor of google? I think I read it’s best not to have both going.

Deactivating all the plugins except Bing and the Cherry Framework (it would not allow me to). Nothing changed.

I had a new website made on the Cherry Framework last June.

I’m trying to improve the SEO of my site, and also that of the images and video by watching various online tutorials, but none of the layouts I see seem to match what I have.

I have Yoast Premium installed. As a photographer, I have a fair amount of images already uploaded, and want to do many more. I just want to get off on the right foot for the future.
