In reply to: Help! After upgrade.. to 2.5.1I guess the question is what version did you upgrade from? I had that problem in an upgrade I did for a friend too. He went from 2.0 to 2.5.1 and it caused a problem.
I deleted the admin and includes folders, and then uploaded the 2.5 admin and includes folders. that solved the problem. the other thing I would check is your settings, make sure your settings are correct. one upgrade screwed up my settings under general look at blog url addresses and make sure the info is accurate.

In reply to: “erreur 403” when edit commentsIf I had to bet, I’d bet you need to set your settings correctly.
Click settings then General and look at the area
WordPress address (URL)
Blog address (URL)Make sure they are correct. (mine are the same, the WP address and the blog address are the same, unless you have some reason why they are different.)

In reply to: oops.. do we really need that wp-config.php file?So what’s the problem?
You need to change the info for your database
<?php// ** MySQL settings ** //define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘info_word’); // The name of the databasedefine(‘DB_USER’, ‘info_BLAH’); // Your MySQL usernamedefine(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘BLAH’); // …andit should be DB_NAME’, yourdatabasename
and your DB_PASSWORD’, yourdatabasepassword
then save the file as
wp-config.php (no sample)Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Insert image box is blankI solved this issue by clearing all private data first, I also opened my dashboard with NO other tabs open, that still didn’t work. SO this was the final fix:
Clean install of FireFox. Get the latest version, and dump the whole FIREFOX application and supporting files.
I saved my bookmarks and extension files (on macs it’s in Library/Application Support/FireFox) and then reinstalled the new FireFox version, I have not had an issue since.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to edit Comments optionsI guess it depends on what you want to change, if you want to change words like “Join discussion leave a reply” to whatever, you need to do that in the comment.php file under the design/theme editor tab.
if it’s the way you answer/edit/reply to comments I would suggest getting the plugin called Absolute Comments

For anyone that is having issues with this, clear cookies and cache, if that doesn’t work do a clean install.
