Due to the way I’ve written my posts, they are not actually 100% related because I take into account ALL of the tags, not just the ones that are related.

My website is about comparing formulas (like, cosmetic, not mathematical ?? So if Product/post X has 3 ingredients/tags and Product/post Y has 5 ingredients/tags, but they only have 1 in common, they’re not a 100% match because there are other ingredients/tags to consider that make up the whole.

I hope that makes it more clear, however, if what you mentioned before is the only way we can express similarity by percentage, then I’ll go for whatever is easiest for you to develop ??

I will look into creating a child theme, thank you. As for your question: It’s 100% the amount of tags the current post has in common with the similar post.
As of now, my problem is like this:

If Post X has tags A,B,C

and Post Y has tags A,B,C,D,E,F,G

and Post Z has tags A,F,G

then the plugin will likely show me that these posts are related 100%, which in the way I wrote my posts, isn’t actually true.

How can I get it to consider that only:

Post X with tags A, B, C and Post Y with tags A, B, C are 100% related?

I would ideally love to eventually figure out a way to show percentage ( of tags in common, out of 100%) but I doubt there’s a plugin that can do that yet ??

I have deactivated the plugin since you haven’t given me any support or answers. Hopefully I find an alternative that works.

I’m also interested in getting it to work without shortcodes.
