In reply to: [SEO Data Transporter] Thesis 2.x to Yoast SEOThanks for your reply @mbrsolution.
Hello @studiopress and @joostdevalk – Could either of you please provide a bit more info or suggestions in regards to the Thesis 2.X to Yoast question?
I’ve noticed several people across the web looking for support on Thesis 2.X. I’ve tried using the plugin in its current form, selecting Thesis 1.x to Yoast SEO… and it does import the page description metadata, however the page title data is “old” – pulling from a different place that is not the current live site data. In general, the whole idea of the Page metadata not staying with the page seems crazy to me. I guess I still think of a Page in the old HTML way… where the header data was truly part of the page. Thank you all for your support and assistance.

In reply to: [SEO Data Transporter] Thesis 2.x to Yoast SEOHello @mbrsolution – I understand that you’ve removed support for Thesis 2.X to Yoast in a previous version.
I’m wondering if moving Thesis 2.X data, using the “From Thesis 1.X” option is a possible workaround? I’ve done a test run and it does appear that your tool did import that page descriptions. Can you help us better understand the difference between a Thesis 1.X & Thesis 2.X import? Any other suggestions for moving data from Thesis 2.X to Yoast would be appreciated. Cheers- VS

In reply to: Unwanted redirection to ad siteI just did some Googling around, I didn’t bookmark any specific sites last time I looked, but here’s a few articles that talk about issues some people have seen.
https://spectrumz.com/myspace-video-pop-ups-from-sitemeter-counter/
https://indianalawblog.com/archives/2013/11/about_this_blog_89.html

I wouldn’t describe what I saw on my site as a “popup” — it 100% took over the entire site/window.
Here’s a link to a tinypic screenshot that I took. It’s an AlaskaAirlines ad — with text that says “A message from our sponsors” . You’ll also see text that says “redirecting back to content in:27 seconds”. We don’t use external ads on the site, so it’s nothing that was approved by us. I thought it was plugin malware, but most signs pointed to sitemeter.

Since removing sitemeter we’ve not seen any issues, and the large number of external urls that load on our pages have disappeared (meaning urls that we could see loading in the lower left on Chrome, that loaded as our normal site page was loading).
If you come across any other info let us know. Thanks!

In reply to: Unwanted redirection to ad siteDoes anyone who’s had this issue on their site also use Sitemeter?

Thanks.

In reply to: Unwanted redirection to ad siteSame thing is happening on one of my sites while using Chrome. I’ve ran a malware scan, and supposedly nothing came up.
The URL that my site is being redirected to is an Ad for Alaska Airlines.
URL: sponsor.adverstitial.com/view/advertisement (followed by a long string of tracking/ref codes.
