Thanks for the plugin suggestion. I installed that but am still having the issue. There is something odd going on here. when I put in the <p> and then close it at the end of the paragraph I get the same behavior I had before when I selected to automatically add paragraphs, that the words don’t line up and fall onto another line. See screenshot here:

I also notice that when I manually put in breaks or paragraphs into the text edit that wordpress strips them away shortly after.
So even with manually putting in the paragraphs for the time they stay in, I get this issue with the words breaking unnaturally onto another line.

Hello again,
How can I limit the page to have two posts rather than three and to make each post larger? I’m also trying to get the teaser to show two languages side by side rather than one above the other. I’m using the advanced excerpt plugin but that has the different languages read in horizontal view.

Another question. when I go to the post to see the whole post and text the text is no longer there because it was put in the excerpt. Do I need to put the text in both places for it to be seen? What I’m looking to do is have a part of the text in two languages as a teaser and then the Continue reading link that take them to the full post

Another hopefully easy and quick question. When I added text to a page I noticed that the formatting was off, letters falling to another line etc and I had to manually go into the edit to make the words line up correctly. Here is an example of a page where I just added text and then a photo floating left: https://www.galeriasanfrancisco.com/test-text-page/
You will see that words for example the word bronze in the second paragraph breaks while in the edit section it lines up perfectly. Any thoughts about this as I add more text to other pages?

Are you using the galleryview plugin? Thats what I was using for this carousel. However I’ve now gone to scrollgallery which I think is better and easier to set up. But try galleryview and see how you like it. I didn’t do anything in the php at all, only the css. Firebug is helpful when trying to figure out what is going on and what the css is.

good question. I struggled with this and with the plugin and finally gave up on the plugin after figuring out lots of things and have to think back about what I did.
I went to the nextgen gallery that i was using and put in text in both the title as well as description. Make sure that the “show captions” is on in the galleryview settings.
The description text, the lower one is the h2 tag in the style sheet. I changed it from margin: 0 0 20px 0; to margin: 0 0 0px 0; but you have to play around with it in the styling.
