In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Double Opt in abandoned cart email@skywalker7188 We’re currently working on a solution for this. At the moment I do not have a time frame as to when it will be complete but I can assure you we will update this thread to let you know when it is complete.
In the meantime we don’t really have a workaround.
Thanks for your patience.@jtc650 Just writing back to let you know we’ve seen this thread and I’m asking on of our developers about this. Once I know more I’ll be sure to update this thread or they may chime in personally.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Blank plugins screen in WP Admin@elizabethhereandnowdigital First thanks for the feedback and taking the time to let us know. Just wanted to drop a note that we’ve seen this thread and that I’ve been in contact with our developers. If we do update this soon I’ll be sure to update this thread
Thanks again.
@yournetgbr unfortunately not at them moment, I reached back out to our developers for an update on any progress or plans and right now there doesn’t seem to be anything on the current horizon. It’s still on the radar as far as I can tell. I wouldn’t be able to give much information beyond this point right now.
This thread has been recorded in our internal tooling for tracking progress on development so once something does happen. Someone if not myself will update you.
Thanks again for your patience.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Abandoned cart email not sent@popeating Thanks for writing in. We certainly want to make sure those abandoned cart emails send as expected. Would you mind giving us the version WooCommerce, WordPress and Mailchimp plugin in use? In the meantime I was able to run a successful test on this end with the Abandoned carts.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Mailchimp says: API Request Error – 503Hey there @rayeason
To help us troubleshoot further and help our developers continue to work on this matter could your please provide the version of the plugin in use answer if any other admin plugins are in use?
In the meantime we’ve had other reports of this and we do have our development team actively working on a solution. We’ll be sure to circle back-around and update this thread once it is updated. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to give an exact time table as to when a fix will be applied to an update.
@aklih Glad to see it worked out!
You’re more than welcome and have a great day and weekend ahead!
I see that you mentioned that installation involved the “plugin in form, and set the API in the form “API custom key”
That is not a typical setup for the Mailchimp for Woocommerce plugin. Is it possible this is in regards to a different plugin?
The Mailchimp for Woocommerce plugins only involves logging in and Authenticating your Mailchimp account on connection, an API key is not involved at all.
Could you please confirm if there are any other Mailchimp plugins installed and the names?

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Disable ASYNC, Only Use CLITechnically it could be possible for us to offer an option to only allow for only logged in users to get tracked and disable our front end posts essentially removing guest visitor tracking. Currently this is not possible. However if this sort of custom option were to be made available would this described outcome be ideal for your particular situation?
To move forward, it is suggested that if possible resize the server in use for the traffic.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Tracking info in the Shipping Confirmation emailYou are more than welcome! Have a great day as well.
With Pleasure.
Hey @aklih
We certainly want to help you get those contact added properly,
Typically contacts subscribing and not being added to Mailchimp can indicate that they may not have completed the Subscription process.
When Double opt-in is enabled even after checking out or signing up and checking subscribe is only the first part of the process. They’ll need to then check their email for a confirmation email and click that link to complete opting in.
The following guide may be of use if the issue is indeed related to Double-opt-in

If that is not the case, could your provide the version plugin, Wooommcerce and WordPress in use for this site in question?
Also are there any errors seen in the logs for the days that someone is attempting to subscribe? These logs are found in the Mailchimp app in Woocommerce

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Wp multisite subdirectories@horsee This is due to the nature of how the Mailchimp Javascript is designed at the moment for only supporting Top Level domain in order for the scripts and tracking features built-in to the Mailchimp plugin to work.
To answer your follow up question it wouldn’t be supported to use subdirectory sites regardless of separate Mailchimp accounts or not. The plugin will not work as intended and we wouldn’t be able to provide support or guidance setting that up.
However you are welcome to try and it will depend on what type of functionality is a necessity. For instance tracking and scripts will not work meaning pop-up forms and campaign tracking for e-commerce will not work as expected either. There is a chance that the sync may work between the separate installs and accounts where only purchase data will sync, meaning that the plugin will be severely limited.
Very understandable where you’re coming from on this and with that said, I’ve brought this up with our development team once more to revisit this scenario and view this specific case I’m bringing up that involves your support request in this thread.
While I can’t say for sure if they will change this in the future. I can assure you I’ve brought it on the radar as I totally understand how sub directory sites are pretty common but here in support we don’t have control over the development process and decisions we can only be the voice of our users who have wrote in such as yourself.
Thanks for writing in.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Tracking info in the Shipping Confirmation emailTotally understandable and to give a little background the API is the method in which data is sent to Mailchimp and processed.
To answer your question the way data is pushed gained before pushing to Mailchimp is from your Wordress/woocommerce site Database records which are then packaged up and sent through the Mailchimp API. This wouldn’t require any effort on your part to work. So long as the data about shipping is added in a way that is supported by Woocommerce.
We certainly don’t expect users to have to understand or interact with the API that is a behind the scenes type of thing.
Currently our plugin isn’t supporting the tracking information as the URL property was a recent addition to the Mailchimp API. This would explain why the other information about shipping shows up in the Automation minus the tracking
After talking with one of our developer we’ve been able to put it on the docket for an update to support it in the future to include a single tracking URL that can be included in the Automation email.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to provide a time frame as to when that would happen. And as of now there isn’t really a workaround short of using another email provider such as the Woocommerce Standard Emails option as you mentioned.
I know it’s not ideal but as soon as it is updated we’ll be sure to circle back around and update this thread about that.
