The double opt-in feature is controlled from your Mailchimp account dashboard. You’re absolutely correct that the checkbox for newsletter is a separate feature entirely.
That’s great to hear some have been sent.

Thanks for writing in and providing this detailed analysis about the PageSpeed scores and how the script affects its.
At the moment we are unable to provide any type of workaround for working with the script. This would involve a change to the script for all users because of the centralized nature of the the feature for tracking by Mailchimp.There wouldn’t be a way to alter the plugin for use of a local version as well.
I’ve gone ahead and saved this information in a feedback report to our developer for consideration for future updates if possible.
However, I cannot make any guarantee that a decision to move forward on something like this will happen.

Jumping right in here to troubleshoot, could you tell us if Double Opt-in is enabled for this audience connected to WooCommerce?
Also could you let us know the version app installed?
That way we can try to retest and recreate the similar issue on our end as we investigate.
If in fact Double opt-in is enabled, I’d recommend checking the spam folder for that confirmation email. If someone opt-sin on checkout but doesn’t finish the double opt-in process then no marketing emails such as Automations will be sent to them.
Once we know more details concerning this matter we’ll be able to chime back in with more help.

From your first screenshot it’s not 100% clear what is showing. For now it appears to be basically a blank screen.

This appears to be a case where the image dimensions are being applied in the URL. This is common and expected behaviour as Mailchimp attempts to dynamically resize the images of products in order to fit them in various places in app and campaign emails.
Could you provide more details in this this is causing yours store? Are the images not appearing? Or when they do are they not showing properly?

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] PHP 8 Compatibility ChangesJust to chime back in on this, we’re currently testing a solution for this. While I can’t provide an exact date on solution being made publicly available, I can say we’re getting close.
Unfortunately, we can’t give a specific date as to when an change can occur. Though this has been fixed before, form talking with the engineers, there seems to be some other details that need to be considered and applied. All that to say from the support side of things we don’t have insight on exactly how long development on this particular issue will take.
However, I can assure you they’ve been made aware and it has become an action item to get solved.
