So my next question is- have you tried deactivating TML to see if the checkbox works without it? I just want to make sure that something in TML Multisite is the issue before I start digging into it more. I wonder if the multisite user plugin might also be hijacking the WP register form in a way that conflicts with it.

And lastly- do you have a link to the live site so I can check the html on the register page?

Let me check and see if the latest version of Theme My Login is giving us new issues. Because we tie in directly to the WordPress registration/login/comment form functions, if any custom plugin bypasses those then we run into issues.

But TML used to work, so hopefully it’s a quick fix…

Okay so I’m not able to duplicate this error on my testing site. Posting activity updates and comments work splendidly, which points to perhaps an issue in the theme?

What theme are you using? Did you try testing with just Twenty Fourteen activated?

Yikes, I’m sorry I’m not very familiar with that, I’ll do some research. Would you be interested in contributing a Persian translation? The plugin is localized, and we’re just beginning to translate it now. I’d be happy to work with you on getting the translation put in and working properly RTL.

Sounds like this should be a support ticket, I’ll take a look at that for you! I run BuddyPress on my testing site and haven’t encountered this issue. So you select the Terms Page from the settings page in the admin but on the front end the lightbox comes up blank?

Is this the WP login page, the BP login page, OR a widget? Thanks!

Yup! I’m thinking we’ll have a setting for like week/month/3 months or something like that so you have some options. We could also have you enter the number of days yourself, but I think that would be a little more granular than the average user needs.

Because the plugin ties into the WordPress registration process, and some plugins hijack that in a way that’s hard to get access to, custom registration pages can cause issues. I’ll see if I can find a workaround for your case while I’m testing the next version.
