Cthreelabs – thanks I’ve been fairly busy the last couple of days but if I can’t get any further I will be in touch.

Lightsoutdave – SmartSimian looks good, I guess I’m basically creating an option for registered users to post – I then receive their post which is actually an entry form. Their posts would then be viewable in a dashboard, but do you know if its possible to hide these posts from anyone other than the user who submitted them, and change the status on the post e.g from Succesful entry to unsucessful?

Here is a detailed description of what I’m after:

Visitors to the website should be able to Register their details in a Form (I can provide each Field Title if necessary or if you’re able to make this customisable that would be great).

We have different categories in the film festival so once users are logged in they can click on a link to an individual category then just input a link to their film and click submit (as we’ve already got their full details from their registration).

In their private dashboard will be a list of all their previous submissions, if there is also a way I can alter the status of their submission (Sucessful/ Unsuccesful) that would also be extremely helpful.

Please let me know if there is any further details you require and let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for your suggestions, I’ve been having a play with different ecommerce and membership plug-ins which I may be able to edit to work for this system, it’s just most of them overcomplicate the process as ulitmately it’s very simple what I’m trying to achieve – a registration system where users can log in – then fill out a short form. But I’ll keep altering the code and working at it.

Cthreelabs – thanks for your offer of support but I’m not sure I have the abilities required, I may have to approach and employ a wordpress designer to create a tailored system, where would i begin to develop this system?
