Can you please share your website URL and exact menu and location to debug.

Note: Please check the developer console log for any JS errors? If so please deactivate other plugins and try only having Frontend Dashboard and its addon.

To add custom field, please go to WP Admin | Frontend Dashboard | Add Custom Field | Then Select the Post/Custom post then select the left side form element like text box or textarea, then select the custom post name in the dropdown to bind this form field in the respective custom post.
