Hi, I found the trouble maker on my websites. I installed and activated the Plugin Disable WP REST API (Disables the WP REST API for visitors not logged into WordPress) from Jeff Star. It prevents CF7 from sending the form. Did you check if you have any plugin installed, which has a similar function?

“There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

I have four webistes, where the Contact Form doesn’t work anymore :-/

I have four websites and all of them show the same problem. After pressing the Send button nothing happens. Only a little icon shows that that the send action is in process.

Hi Hessel,
thanks for your quick reply. Both websites are set to German (formal). The difference was, one Website was set to “Deutsch” in the User settings, the other was set to “Website Einstellung”. After changing that to “Deutsch”, the language of the Plugin changed also to Deutsch.

Hi Bikalpa,
you wrote that you checked your demo site on an iPad. I guess you used a newer model? I’m talking about iPads using iOS 9.3.5. Apple doesn’t support the old iPads anymore. Latest possible version is iOS 9.3.5.
Since I’m not the only one who uses older devices, I wonder if there is any workaround to be able to display the website error-free on the old devices.
