I’m not sure what has changed, but I opened Jetpack Social in a new tab and when I clicked connect to Facebook, it said I needed to be logged in to WordPress.com (which was a new alert). I did that, and the connection now works… Thanks for the help!

Thanks Stef. I deactivated Wordfence, the only security plugin I have, and as others have noted that did nothing. I’ll ask my host if he can check some of these other things.

It seems like suddenly a lot of people are having this trouble. Did nothing change on the Jetpack side that might cause this?

Thanks for the response Gerroald. I tried deactivating/deleting all plugins and never could get anything to fix it. Both WordPress and Jetpack seemed to have something corrupted and I could do anything to fix either. So, I just started a new install and migrated my posts over. With a fresh install, all seems to be working. I have no idea what is wrong with the old one, but at this point, it is moot.

I would say that it all started when I accidentally hit either deactivate or delete WordFence. That caused a fatal error and even when I tried to reactive/reinstall, it never quite worked right. And then, after the most recent WordFence update, things broke further.

I’m having the exact same problem as kwisko. This is only for singlepic, I’ve gotten other things to work just fine. I have a custom theme. My url for the image looks very similar to kwisko’s. Has anyone figured out what is causing the problem?

Using HTTrack, and disabling the blocking of robots from my blog, I was able to mirror the entire thing. This thread helped me figure this out (my reasoning for doing this mirror is different: we want to save an archive of our blog on our baby so she can have it in the future).
