Thank you so much @snowbelly! I had no idea I had that invisible gibberish text in my first paragraph. I’m glad I know how to check for that now with the text tab. Removing that made my book text even immediately, as you said. I tried my book page with my name and with the CSS spacing (good to know I have options!) and I like the way it looks with your code better.

This is something that’s bothered me for years, so thank you for finding such a simple solution!

It’s on the front page of my website, right at the top.

If I use the shortcode in a text widget, it forces my bio and the social icons to go under my photo, instead of beside it. I’ve had the shortcode pasted under my bio in the text widget for months and it was never an issue before. I always had my bio next to my photo, with the social icons displaying under my bio.

If I use the social media widget instead, the icons appear in a third column, which compresses my bio. Thanks!
