In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Images not shown after restore@bcrodua I don’t see anything that says cpanel in Siteground. There is no “My Accounts Tab” and then “Cpanel” as the directions say in that link you sent. The only thing I could find that looks like some sort of code is the “raw Access log?” Is this what you need? Here’s the link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mapHGnj8nJ_Hv7ejNx-yPUj6CZVkt4vi_zTjEW-t8oU/edit?usp=sharing
I have even tried to put my url + 2082 at the end of it and my url + /cpanel at the end and it just comes up an error page on my screen.
I am so confused.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Images not shown after restore@bcrodua Where do I get to the CPanel??
I have been looking for an hour in my WordPress dashboard for the word “CPanel.” I don’t see it in there. Where do I find the CPanel?
Is my “hosting account” my wordpress? Or is it my siteground? I’m very confused about how to find this file that you need to help me.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Images not shown after restoreI am very new to all of this and do not understand this jargon. What is FTP? And where do I find the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory? Is that in my WordPress dashboard somewhere? Can you give me the exact steps to find this log you need?
Same problem as well. Help!

In reply to: Images not showing up on my site@oglekler
I haven’t changed any new image optimization plugin in months and my images have always been there long after I did use that plugin. I think the mess up happened when I switched themes and then went back to my old theme (I hated how the new theme looked!)I do have backups. And I saved a back up before I changed themes. I also had to restore a backup that I had because I had a lot of custom CSS that I didn’t want to lose.
Can you please walk me through how to look for the images in my backups in order to restore them? And how to actually restore them?
I believe this started after I did the restore of the January 14th back up pictured here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13RM1hNwawy7Z9fXJPkTKeDdNGbvmM0kr/view?usp=sharing

Here’s what I see when I look in my media library. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FDejZ7rU5ELoMF7oSy33G9ScROZ9XkT1/view?usp=sharingAs you can see, all of the pictures that are not showing up on my site are showing no image. When I click on one of these blank images, all of the information of the file is still there – file size, alt text, title, etc. But the picture is not. Why? Where have all of my pictures gone?! How can I fix this?

You can see the alt texts where each picture is supposed to be. So they aren’t grey squares. Here is a screenshot of what I am seeing on my site https://drive.google.com/file/d/138sheibNV0qb9tWjFRj89-sQ-30dzYxV/view?usp=sharingI did change themes a couple of weeks ago. But I changed to a new theme and then changed it right back to my old theme I originally had, which is what theme I am using now. A theme change shouldn’t make my pictures suddenly not show up. And, all of the pictures from the posts on the first page of my homepage transferred right over. So why wouldn’t page 2 and 3’s pictures show up as well?!
How can this be fixed? When I go into a post, the block is indeed an image block. See this photo: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Bm8EgL22F3iLxoyo_oDEPkz2njj-O9Vw/view?usp=sharing But why are all of the pictures not showing and it’s only showing the alt?

In reply to: Missing icons while editing post@marcio-zebedeu I just switched my site back to another theme of mine and I still have the same problem – every icon with a post in gutenberg editor is either missing or a little square. Can you please help with this? I cannot write blog posts until this is fixed.

In reply to: Missing icons while editing postI had a theme before this one and this never happened. I have not tried to switch to twenty twenty. It took me days to switch over to this paid theme last year! Now I need to change to change it all again to the free theme?
Is there a way to do this maybe in the background without affecting my visitors view of my site?

In reply to: [Easy Google Fonts] Font not changing@coreigh Thanks for the quick response! I really appreciate it!
I do have the API. My other Titles with different selectors show up on my Topography and those were able to be saved and I am able to change my fonts and such. It’s just this batch that won’t save.
I had the same thought as you earlier and I eventually did exactly what you said and cut out a number of selectors and it finally worked. I guess some of the selectors it just didn’t like? Sort of frustrating because now those selectors are my theme’s default font as I was able to change only some of the selectors. Boo! It’s just aesthetic, but I’m a perfectionist and it has driven me mad!
Thanks again
