Even the selected posts (categories and authors) are not loading the sending had worked fine. Anyway it would be helpful if the feature is working as expected.

The counter is still working even it is in the deactivated list

I have the exactly same problem here after upgrade to 1.5.4! Strange thing is, that in the plug-ins directory it is listed under deactivated plug-ins. If I go to the WordPress.com Stats Menu in the plug-ins section then the status message is:
The WordPress.com Stats Plugin is configured and working.

And it seems that it still counts my visitors. I have to keep a look on the counts. The graphics coming up properly.

Is it activated even it is listed under deactivated plugins? Is it working or not? Who can help me/us?

Thanks for your hint – it help me to get further!

The problem came up because I′ve added two empty text widgets for the Small Sidebar 1 & 2. I have done this, because: If I let this empty then some standard widgets came up, I didn′t want to show.

My work around so far: I have used some prober content for Small Sidebar 1 & 2 because it is okay in this project.

But maybe someone can help me, how to generally disable Small Sidebar 1 & 2 and using only Main Sidebar?
