Note: Apparently this meltdown occurred during a WordPress automatic update. As a result, the automatic update error message at the top of the screen did not disappear after manually downloading Wordfence. All you need to do is delete the .maintenance file in the root directory to remove the automatic update error message.

In reply to: [Arconix FAQ] Htttps issuesMaybe jumping the gun again. It appears that the problem is also for posting in general. WordPress seems to hang when “Saving Draft…”, so trying to click anything on the screen results in a timeout of the site. Wish I knew a way to deal with this.

In reply to: [Dropdown Menu Widget] Do not have sufficent permissions?FYI- the compatibility issue is the option called “Turn off file editor in WordPress Back-end” in the Better WP Security plugin. I have no idea why this would be the case, but when that option is activated, you will lose Dropdown Menu Widget’s settings option in the WordPress Settings menu and you won’t have permission to access the settings through the settings link in the Plugin list.

Basically there is just a pink rectangular box with nothing in it. The source code yields an empty div:

In reply to: [Widgets on Pages] CSS problemsI have the same problem. The majority of CSS attributed to my sidebar does not makes it way over to the WoP sidebar, even when enable styling is marked. My guess is that this plugin is quite useful for the typical WordPress widgets, but not as much for the atypical.
