Mistery solved.

The previous credits were attributed to WP Forms / Syed Bahkli. Now the modified reverts back to Callum Macdonald, the original author. I always thought Callum is/was the maintainer, only today I noticed the previous takeover by WPBeginner enterprise. There should be definitely a clarification from original author…

Same here, from live to local. In log there are a bunch of errors, including one “wp_users table doesn’t exist”. Aside that, when accessing frontpage, it’s 404.

This, and the possibility to remove wpautop filter, will force me to almost never quit Customizer, making it a de facto web editor.

So, I was about to open another thread, but since I mentioned above, here it is:

I use WP Edit for code editing style, and also for being able to manage wpautop. However, after I try to edit the page in Customizer, the Editor sanitizes the content, making the process useless. Is there a way to preserve the WP Edit setting, or (if you ask me, since Text Tab is basically html/code editing) to automatically remove wpautop globally.

I understand this must accomodate the general WP behaviour, which is disputable in regard to wpautop. One way may be a checkbox near the Open Editor button to allow/deny wpautop?

I solved a similar problem for tabular data, with the help of codepeople, by inserting a html table with specific classes/id for each <td>, then change <td>’s values with the appropiate fieldname values, with jquery. Scary at the beginning, but easy and fun in the end.

A source of inspiration may be FormWorks from CalderaWP.

Sure:
– demographics etc. (maybe through GA)
– engagement: user clicks, entries, abandons etc.
– A/B testing would be nice

I know, I know. I was actually in the middle of the table with columns method when you answered, BUT I think the JS way is allowing me to keep the logic apart from the design. And I learn JS, too, BONUS! Thanks again!

Ok, thanks very much, so let’s format the table, then ?? For reference, I try to use this method for nicely formatting tabular data, in the form of an invoice output. Although I have to write functions, I style more easily like that.

It should, as long as CalderaWP is concerned. If not, then you screwed something, so maybe it’s time for debugging. You know the drill: deactivate/delete plugins, restore database etc. If necessary, fresh reinstall and start over.

For the Phone Number Element, yes, it is not working anything that default masks. However, you can use the Single Line Text Element, set it masked with [9{*}], that will allow only numbers (of any lenght in this case).
