In reply to: theme changes back to default by itselfI’ve had this happen to me; although it looked correct from the admin side, the site seemed to revert to the default template.
I have two suggestions for you (though I’m a beginner myself!)
Did you copy files from your first set up to make the other? If you did and you included your personalised configure files perhaps the 2nd site is getting confused as to what the content should be (hope this makes sense – I did this and it foxed me for a couple of hours! Mind you, my database was clearly confused too…)
Also, have you tried deleting your temporary internet files? Perhaps your computer is showing old stored content?

In reply to: Separate CSS File For One PageI’m attempting exactly the same thing – I have 3 columns and because I’m trying to install an Amazon aStore, I need to drop my right hand column (on one page only) to replace it with Amazon’s column to navigate the store pages.
I’ve made a page template file by naming the file and pasting the rest of the code from “page.php”. I’ve deleted the right hand column sucessfully but I have two issues that still need to be addressed:
The new page still only spreads across the middle section of the page (and doesn’t fill the space left by the right sidebar)
For some reason there are extra navigation tabs showing where they shouldn’t be. (Using my usual template when there are too many pages to be allocated individual tabs, the extra pages simply don’t show – on my template pages, they’re visible on the page)
I don’t know how to address these problems but if anyone can suggest some coding, I’m great at cutting and pasting!
Thanks
