Has anyone figured this out? 4 days is a long time… I’m having the same issue over at positivewriter.com

Okay, I updated to the new plugin and it kept my old click counts; HOWEVER, it is still NOT updating with new clicks on any posts. So even with the new plugin it is not counting any new clicks. I toggled both the native counts on and off and there was no change.

Review: I like the old style much better, more obviously click buttons. I would like to keep the legacy look of the old style, is that possible?

When I update will I lose my old share counts??

Any update on this yet? Still at 0’s for the new post and old posts are not recording new share counts either.

Let me be clear, the welcome matt worked perfectly before the Sumo plugin was updated!!!

My theme creator is not going to update the theme for ONE plugin that has now broken due to its own update, WHICH I AM PAYING FOR MONTHLY. The welcome matt worked before the Sumo update, my theme did not change! You can’t update a plugin and then blame the site for the problems… well, unless you’re Sumo. It worked fine before the update to the welcome matt, so you changed something. It’s very clear that Sumo will not fix this and will continue to want theme creators to modify their code instead. Here’s the response from my theme creator, Notable Themes:

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately we are not able to update the theme in order to support a particular plugin but you should be able to update the plugin’s CSS to work around this.

max-width: [whatever you want];
}

Since tribe theme sets the max width to 100%, you should be able to set the plugin’s max-width to “none” so the plugin doesn’t use that parameter. I would recommend working with SUMO’s team to find out what plugin element is affected by the 100% max width and see what width you can use to override it.
