I also have this issue while trying to scale images directly from the Media library. Strange thing is that you can scale an image if you edit it from within a post.

The update seems to have killed my RSS feed.

When I deactivate the plugin my feed is restored.

Any ideas?

All the setting were lost after the update. What’s worse is that after re-entering the settings, I went back in an hour later and the were missing yet again. Something seems wrong with this update.

They all have that capability. They had all the capabilities of an Editor.

For others that may come across this:

Problem solved.

On the Main site (with the large image library) the users had a Capability or Role that was not a standard WordPress role. I had made up some custom Roles (in the case Managing Editor instead of just Editor).

I’m not sure if the two name Role was the cause or simply it being a non-standard role?? But once I put them back to Editor things worked.

My two cents.

I have a site with 80 writers who need guidelines. They cannot post directly to the site, an editor must approve the post. Can I have a capability I can toggle to give these guys access to the Helps ?

Extelliqent – adding posts slows down your page load time? Sounds like you may have a Config issue.

We have 5000 posts (just crossed the threshold tonight) and have no noticeable slowdowns.

Thanks Nick – can I ask how you ‘connect ‘ them. Does W3 detect it somehow and add it to the drop down box or did you have to tweak something else.
