  • 4:12:11 – I still have this issue today. A lot of articles are being reported to the stats feed as “# (loading title)”.

    site: https://www.brusimm.com

    Thanks in advance?

I saw this happening and thought it was because I deactivated my plugin on my website. (Deactivating it sped up my site)
Then I reactivated it and got the error message. After a bit of tooling around, I was able to get stats again (While I was at home).

Now I’m at work, went to stats and there we go again, I don’t have access to this account. (The account I logged in to. Eh.)

At first I too thought that this was WP’s Microsoft-ish way of forcing folks into JetPack. But…

OBSERVATION: One clue that screams out at me is that there are no options to pick any website in the stats page. This is saying to me that something is wrong on the back-end of this situation and it’s not some sort of trick… I hope.

Though it sure would be nice if someone ‘in the know’ noticed the activity in this post and chimed in to let us know what’s up from their end. That does seem suspicious.

I’m hoping for the best though. They’ve never let me down before… that I know of! LOL.

    Question to anyone out there:

If I want to go back to 2.8.4, but this is a clean install of 2.9.*, how do I go about this, if no one has a reasonable idea to help me on my way?

Do I just save the DB, do a wipe of the install and start over?

I mean, that’s how up against a wall I am. I’m losing time and traffic trying to diagnose something I know nothin’ about! I think the term is arg.

    I’m using PHP Version 5.1.6,
    PHP memory_limit 32M
I don’t believe I have bandwidth of transfer caps.
    mysql: Client API version 5.0.77
    ~
What else could be causing these issues?

Thanks Anthony… I’ll look at those parameters and see what I come up with! (I have to wait until lunch break to “play” with WP!)

Here are a compilation of issues I am experiencing:

It’s fickle as to which browser 2.9 works with. But the fickle is not consistent. (This may sound odd, but I can do whatever I want in the mornings, but as the day progresses, I start losing functionality in different browsers.)

Dashboard panels on the right side sometimes don’t appear. (Fickle related! They do in the mornings, but as the day progresses, they stop showing up.)

Saving a post sometimes leads to a blank page. The posts save properly and show up on the blog as expected, I just receive the blank page for feedback.

Images aren’t loading centered, as initially requested when uploading. I can fix the alignment after the fact.

That’s my simple 2 cents on my experiece.

I have to back up EternalSkyChaz on the sidebar issue. My right sidebars are gone. That includes the right sidebar via the blog, or the right column of panels under the logged in admin panel.

Some java or script like actions were stopped (not responding) that included the open / close arrows on the Dashboard won’t respond. I can open any section by clicking on it, but not via the open close options.

I also cannot upload plugins, but I’m not sure that’s a WP issue or new server issue but in case anyone else has encountered that, I thought I’d toss that in too.

I digress… I saw what I thought was the obvious answer, and I was not able to do anything with it.

if anyone has any experience moving PIXELED theme sidebars to the left side, I would like some insight, assistance or sanity in the matter.

    Thanks!

I posted this because I didn’t initially find my answers, but I believe I may have discovered the sidebar left and sidebar right options in my template… under the sidebar.php file.

Which I believe is what I want!

    Sorry to bother everyone.

Hmm.. I was under the pixeled section and it said add reply or new post… my presumption seems to have misfired…

Pixeled is the theme.. sigh. Thanks.

I had the same problem, but from 5 different computers, in two very different locations, and on BOTH FF and IE.

I seem to have beat this problem:

I upgraded to the latest version of JAVA.
*Even though you get no advice to reboot, REBOOT afterwards.*

I then open up FireFox and like one other person previously suggested, had only one tab open.

At that point, I was able to add images.
