We have tried on 5.0.1, 4.4.2, 4.2. Turns out it is all mobile devices, though, not just Droid.

Do we need to tweak the code to allow for mobile devices?

Having the same issue with Droid models and, in fact, all mobile devices have the same problem. Were you able to find any resolution?
