Folks, we need to hear from someone at WordPress to explain how to track down and remove Blackhole Exploit kits. I understand overwriting existing installations may help at least temporarily, but I think we need a less-drastic solution to the problem.

Quite frankly, the lack of authoritative solutions to this problem is very disturbing.

Try removing your caching plug-in if you have one.

I installed a plugin called Quick Cache ( A WP Super Cache Alternative ), and it worked fine when accessing WordPress via Chrome (which is what I normally use).

However, I noticed traffic drop off dramatically and finally realized that the Firefox and IE rendered a blank page when visiting the site.

I disabled Quick Cache ( A WP Super Cache Alternative ) and now everything is fine again. There’s no telling how much money that stinkin’ plugin cost me.

Howdy folks! I was having this problem with simple tags in WordPress 2.8.4. The problem was called by the plugin: wp-insert (a plugin used to insert adsense into blog content).

Solution? I removed wp-insert from my blog. Now I have to find some other way to manage my adsense ??
