2) The version of php you are running
3) The version of WordPress you have installed.
4) User role with which you are operating when the error occurs.
5) Whether this is a multisite or single site environment.

What happens when you try to add a new category?
Does any error show up when you enable WP-DEBUG?
To enable it, go to your wordpress root directory,
Look for the file named wp-config.php
Look for the line
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
and change it to
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
save. and reload the error page. Let me know what error comes up and I will help you fix this.Also for faster response, open a ticket here Zanto support
