I did read that, but where it got confusing for me was when using a static + blog structure vs. just a blog – that part was pretty straightforward.
So, seems to me if a static page is %postname% then an actual post would be %postname%/%post_id%.
But I’m still getting extra long permalinks. Not a big deal but if anyone has a more elegant solution I am all ears.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to remove the date/posted by info on some pages, but not others? I am using WP to set up a website with static pages, and a blog… it’s going well except I’d like to keep the date/posted by ONLY on the blog page.
The URL is https://www.pawsny.org.
I’m using the 42k theme.

OK, I mapped the .com domain to the wordpress.com domain but I still can’t log in from the new domain. Help!

Where would I find that bit of code? I didn’t see it in the stylesheet.
